Terms of Service

Welcome to CareBridger. These terms (the “Terms”) are a contract between you and CareBridger Limited (“CareBridger”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the service.

1. The service

CareBridger is a family caregiving coordination platform. We let a small group of caregivers share responsibilities for one or more care profiles — tasks, reminders, check-ins, messaging, and lightweight insights. The service is provided on an as-is basis.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. One person may own several accounts; an account may have multiple care-network members, each with their own sign-in.

3. Acceptable use

• Don’t use CareBridger to harm, harass, or surveil another person.
• Don’t upload content that infringes someone else’s rights, or content a reasonable person would find abusive, threatening, or obscene.
• Don’t probe, scan, or attempt to breach our systems or the systems of our cloud provider (Cloudflare). Security research is welcome — contact us first at security@carebridger.com.
• Don’t automate interactions with the service in a way that degrades it for other users.

4. Your data

You own the data you put into CareBridger. You grant us a limited licence to store, display, and transmit that data solely so we can run the service for you. We do not use your care data to train external models.

You can export a full copy of your account at any time via Settings → Preferences → Export my account data. You can delete your account from the same screen. Deletion is a soft-delete: your data remains recoverable for 30 days, after which it is permanently removed from our database, blob storage, and session stores.

5. Availability and changes

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. We may change features, pause parts of the service for maintenance, or discontinue non-core features with notice. We’ll try to preserve export + deletion access above all else if something fails.

6. Liability

CareBridger is not a medical device, not a clinical tool, and not a substitute for professional medical judgement. The insights surfaced by the Care Intelligence layer are derived from activity patterns on the platform and should be treated as prompts for human review, not instructions. To the maximum extent allowed by law, CareBridger is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with notice where practical.

8. Changes to these Terms

We’ll post material changes to this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for changes that affect your rights, email every account owner at least 14 days before they take effect.
